Recipe For Jamaican Jerk Chicken Man!

We make the Jamaican Jerk Chicken Man! I’ve made this recipe numerous times, and every time it’s delicious. This is traditionally made with Scotch Bonnet peppers which are native to Jamaica. Habaneros are a close cousin, and are used in the U.S. because Scotch Bonnet’s are hard to find. I touched my eyes one time right after removing the seed from the Habaneros, and it felt like I pepper sprayed myself. Be careful! 2 small habanero peppers, seeds removed, roughly chopped 10 green onions, roughly chopped 1 medium red onion, diced 3/4 cup light soy sauce 1/2 cup red wine vinegar 1/4 cup vegetable oil 1/4 cup brown sugar 2 tablespoons fresh thyme 1 teaspoon coarsely...

How To Cook A Steak Like A Chef!

I learned this recipe from a really talented Orange County Chef. It involves marinating the steaks in red wine, but the most important technique is basting the steaks with butter during the cooking process. There’s something I want you to understand though. I really believe in eating healthy most of the time. This isn’t one of those times! Just remember, to cook a steak at exactly the right temperature takes some practice.   Things You’ll Need: 2 filet mignon steaks, or ribeyes, or whatever cut you like  For Marinade: 1/2 cup red wine 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil 4 garlic cloves roughly chopped 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper 1/2 teaspoon sea...

Key Lime Pie Martini Recipe

Memorial Day weekend is right around the corner and you know what that means?  You need a great martini recipe to relax and unwind! This recipe came from an incredible restaurant in Laguna Beach.  People would come into town from around the country, and make it a point to stop by just for a Key Lime Martini!  The best way to make this martini is with a shaker.  If you don’t have one, you can use a plastic wide mouth bottle with a top, or even your plastic protein shake container.  Whatever you do, your martini should to be shaken… not stirred! Most of these ingredients can be found at Beverages and More or even the grocery store. Ingredients: 4 oz Stoli Vanilla...
